How To Write CVs with a Hornby Select

A beginners guide to programming CVs with a Hornby Select. "Can Hornby Selects write CVs??" Yes!!! If you need a firmware upgrade I will show you how to check and what to do if you need one (and how much it will cost).

Using two real life examples that a lot of people encounter and are easy to overcome, improving the performance of your DCC locos. The first is changing the sound levels of my Class 37 and my Tornado. The second example is fixing the slow running performance of my Class 37, it is a common problem that faces many locos after the installation of a TTS chip, not just a Class 37.

CV changes to fix the Class 37 slow running stutter.
