DETAILS:
The Canyon Fire that started on the border of Ventura County quickly burned into L.A. County and within hours, had torched thousands of acres.
Hundreds of people in communities of Castaic off of Hasley Canyon Road have been evacuated as the raging inferno burned towards their homes.
The continues to burn in a north-eastern direction that is to the west of Piru lake.
Fire fighters are fighting vigilantly to protect homes as hotshot crews and more engine show up.
