Maintenance on the Mini Cooper S | Brake dust shields | Clean | Zink | Paint | Part 1 - REAR

As important as services, maintenance sessions need to be done as well! Especially on older cars such as the #Mini #Cooper S from 2012! In this first part I show you how to take apart all brake components to get to the brake dust shield / backing plate / protection plate, clean it thoroughly and apply zink spray for protection and heat protective paint!

TORQUE SPECS
Brake disc bolt (T50): 27nm
Caliper bracket collar bolts (16mm): 65nm
Guide bolts (13mm): 25-30nm
