31 | Daily Life Down by the River | Flower Picking & Planting Fruit Trees

Welcome to our Swedish home in the forest! In this new video, you'll get a glimpse of spring in the beautiful southern region of Sweden, Småland. Today I have a special video to share with you of how Swedish nature looks like during springtime. In June during Sweden's beautiful spring season, Daisy and I had an amazing walk nearby our house. Sitting by the beautiful Mörrumsån river with Daisy was a reminder of the simple joys of life. The tranquility, natural beauty, and bonding moments with my sweet Daisy are precious to me in this so called 'fallen world'. Sometimes it helps to make my own world simple and not worry to much about what is happening in the world around me. Unfortunately I do not have a say in everything that is going on, but I can have control over my own life and where I want to focus my energy on. To get rid of some worries I try to focus my mind on the beauty of nature, the animals around me and of course the lovely people that I have by my side. That is something I like to share with you and one of the reasons why I started making this 'mindfulness' or 'slow tv' videos. I feel grateful for the opportunity to experience Småland when she is awakening and the wildflowers are growing everywhere. It helps me to relax and feel at peace, I hope you will experience the same while watching this video. In June I have also my Birthday and Sander gifted me some fruit trees that he later planted himself on our property. I feel grateful to have new trees growing and I can't wait until I can pick the first fruits from these new trees.

Hi everyone! My name is Elcke and together with my two loved ones I moved from The Netherlands to the beautiful south of Sweden (Småland). We were lucky enough to buy a 19th century cottage in the middle of the Swedish forest. Here we made the decision to live life a bit more slow, and more in line with nature.
