Class 43s, an unexpected 37 and more at Carlisle Station plus Civil Engineer's trains, Passenger Trains Rail Head Treatment Train Recorded over 10 hours at Carlisle's Citadel Station on 03 December 24
Starting with a Network Rail PLPR and Overhead Inspection train topped and tailed by Class 43s in the smart Coals Orange and yellow livery. We also see the Midland Pullman charter from Swindon to Edinburgh for the Christmas Market and return.
Two trains of rock pass through bound for Arnside on the Furness line - and then on to Ulverston for the repair of a collapsed cutting side which closed that line and is now being repaired,.
We have other usual passenger and freight trains but finish with a West Coast Railways stock move - class 37 bringing 3 carriages from Fort William bound for Carnforth.
The times shown on clips are for guidance only and shouldn't be taken as definitive.
