Fineract 1.9 New features and improvements
This video highlights in details the new features and improvements now available in Fineract 1.9 which was officially released in January 2024.
The new features include:
New loan adjustment capabilities such as
-- Charge-off
-- Merchant issue refund
-- Payout refund
-- Goodwill credit
-- Charge-back
Sell loan/external asset owner
Delinquency buckets
User experience improvements
Advanced loan search
New data table features such as search with pagination, filtering and sorting
Business date and close of business date
Grouping of jobs, for example: all loan jobs are now executed in a pre-determined order
and finally, a brand new UI(the web app) is now the default Fineract UI. The community app is no longer supported.
