Upgrading the floors and seats in your Mercedes Sprinter conversion is essential for enhancing both comfort and functionality. Wood floor coverings are one of the easier installs. Typically made with marine grade wood, you lay the panels over insulation and then add your desired vinyl texture over the top. Van Land's most common wood floors come from Serg Supply and Infinity Floor.

If your van build does require accommodations for more seating, you'll have to look into the engineered flooring kits. The Smart floor is extremely popular with it's modular design. The tracks in the floor allow for the fixed seats to be repositioned throughout the cabin or even take them out depending on the adventure.

One misconception when designing the seating layout in your Mercedes Sprinter conversion comes up when talking L-Track. The L-Track commonly gets referenced as the end-all-beat-all solution with customers "just adding in the L-track" for their seating solutions.

The L-Track is a completely engineered flooring solution that is DOT approved but requires a professional installation.
