A major focus of the American Legion Auxiliary’s 2022-2023 administrative year was placed on the companions of veterans attending the National Veterans Creative Arts Festival. Some of these companions, without help from the Auxiliary, would not have been able to attend the 2023 Festival, which was held in St. Louis. Many provide physical, mental, and/or emotional support to their veteran.
The ALA is a co-presenter of the National Veterans Creative Arts Festival, along with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
