Woodland photography from Sherwood Forest during the partial UK solar eclipse (around 30% in the UK June 2021).

Beautiful day wandering Sherwood Forest for more woodland photography and on a day where the moon blocked out around 30% of the sun.. briefly.

Sherwood Forest and it's ancient trees have seemed slow to leaf this year, but this week it was brilliant to see them all full once more. The woodland photography can become more difficult in the woodland through summer months, with long days, bright light, high sun and that rich green 'everywhere'.. but it is NEVER a wasted walk and the wild life more than make up for any challenging light.

The UK saw a 30% partial eclipse and although I couldn't capture it particularly well I hope a sense of the light loss was evident.
