[Albert Einstein was a fan of the show. According to a letter the show got, Einstein once left early from a meeting at the California Institute of Technology, saying, "You will have to excuse me, gentlemen. It's time for Beany."]

Daws Butler as the President, Stan Freberg as Cecil and Stanley.

Stanley is probably Stanley Woodard, the White House Chief of Protocol under Truman and FDR. The resemblance ends there. :)

Truman never said the Missouri Waltz was his favorite. The White House published this comment: "President's attitude towards the song? He can take it or leave it. Is it really his favorite?
