This is an informational video on how to conduct electrical tests on Flygt Concertor pumps. This video is intended as a general reference for technical personnel tasked with maintaining pump performance and ensuring the replacement process is done safely and effectively. This video is NOT intended to serve as a step-by-step, fail-safe checklist. Projects vary and may require additional steps provided for in the Manual not included in this video.
Precautions for handling permanent magnet motors:
Magnetic fields can damage cardiac pacemakers and other medical implants. Stay clear of the permanent magnet rotor when disassembled from the motor. Do not use tools which can be attracted to magnetic fields near the rotor and do not allow the rotor to come near steel items.
