Modernity soon creeps up on all of us as the modern trend is towards a chassis system rifle concept where a barrelled action is secured /bedded into a rigid, strong and weather proof modular chassis. Thereby maximising adjustability to meet their own shooting style has been gaining favour amongst newer deer stalkers.
Thus Tikka`s new Ace series rifles based on the ever popular T3X barrelled action sits in an aluminium chassis type stock with the Ace Target for long range use, Ace Game for fox/deer stalking and rimfire version based on the T1X rifle. All three have a two colour option of black chassis and metal parts or the Cerakote Midnight Bronze and Tungsten metal finish.
Being modular you can strip, adjust or add to the rifle to customise thus maximising the Ace`s ergonomic virtues with a wide variety of accessories.
The chassis system is all aluminium and non folding unlike Tikka`s Tac1 and has a pronounced skeletal look with its M-Lok forend, Acra rail, barricade stop, provision for addition of weights and AR style pistol grip. A quick adjustable cheekpiece and length of pull (LOP) adjustment, exchangeable bag rider attachments and ambidextrous thumb shelve for rapid fire scenarios are all welcome features.
