COLOURALONG | Dark Fairytales – Kerby Rosanes | Snow White and Rose Red | Adult Colouring

Hi guys!

My first page coloured in Kerby Rosanes newest book Dark Fairytales. I am so glad I have done a page in this book – I really do like this book. But knowing me, it would have sat untouched for a bit before I dove in and started a page. So thanks to my buddy colour, I managed to get a page done already!

The book is releasing this week! I know it is not everyone’s style of book to colour, dark themes are not usually my choice of page, but I do love Kerby’s work! And I loved his version and illustrations of fairytales.

Here is the colouralong for my first page!

I have used Derwent Inktense, Faber Castell Albrecht Dürers, Tombow dual brush pens and Arrtx acrylic markers. Embellishments include white paint pen and minimal glitter gel pen.

Specific materials used:
Posca Paint Pen 1M: White
Flysea glitter marker: Gold
Pentel hybrid dual metallic – Silver with copper/green; Light pink with green/gold
Tombow dual brush pens: 990, 131, 912
Arrtx acrylic markers (green box – shown in video): T720, T001, T258, T618
Derwent inktense for background: Payne’s grey 2110
