Take a look in and outside at one of Germany's unique designed TV Tower opened at 1 mai 1968 showing full operation in the analog era.
At basement level showing the public and commercial radio and TV transmitters of Rohde & Schwarz incl. a trolley with measuring equipment. Huge low loss coaxial cabling is running all the way from basement to the top of the mast at 280 meters height.
Inside the UFO alike dish there was the so called Leitstelle where monitoring and control upon the regional network took place.
On the outside platform you can see large dishes used for block alike sending the cable TV signal to the outskirts of Hamburg by the so called AMTV system.
At the end a visit inside the cable TV headend of Hamburg including rooftop with satellite dishes.
