Empowering Your Tomorrow: Financial Literacy for Youth

Youth Connections Café with Host Lynne McIntee hosted a very popular, informative, and useful workshop in partnership with the Canadian Foundation for Economic Education. It provided a chance for youth to empower their financial future through Empowering Your Tomorrow and plan a solid path forward with financial literacy for youth.

The workshop focused on goals and decision‑making, planning for the future, banking, saving, credit, budgeting to reach a goal, careers—including entrepreneurship—and considerations around obtaining and paying for post‑secondary education.

At Youth Connections Café–Empowering Your Tomorrow, youth had the opportunity to connect with industry professionals, gain valuable insights, and learn from their experiences. They expanded their networks, built meaningful connections, and discovered new possibilities. Youth Connections Café–Empowering Your Tomorrow was dedicated to fostering a supportive community where youth could learn, grow, and thrive.
