This is the full video of the restoration of this Black Forest cuckoo clock, it runs for 1 hour 48 minutes.
The chains are removed, then the Bellows and Pipes are removed.
The movement is taken apart and the rusty steel parts are cleaned up with wire brush mounted on a Dremel tool.
The Bellows have new Tyvek paper fitted and are then tested to make sure they work correctly.
After the movement parts are cleaned in the UC, the movement is reassembled.
I make a new tapered pin to replace a seriously poor quality one.
Finally the movement is oiled.
