1934 – Carl Rehnborg introduced the first multivitamin / multimineral supplement in the United States, made with Phytonutrients.

1942 – Nutrilite sustainable farming practices are developed

1948 – Nutrilite XX is introduced. Today Nutrilite is the world’s No. 1 selling vitamins and dietary supplements brand

1949 – Jay Van Andel and Rich DeVos become top distributors of Nutrilite products

1956 – One of the first Vitamin C supplements derived from a natural source (acerola cherries)

1958 – Nutrilite publishes the first document on nutrient deficiency in the U.S.

1972 – Nutrilite becomes part of the Amway Corporation

1989 – The C.F. Rehnborg Professorship in Disease Prevention is established at Stanford University School of Medicine

1998 – Organic farms double

2002 – Nutrilite is recognized as: “The only global vitamin and mineral brand to grow, harvest and process plants on their own certified organic farms.”

2004 – Nutrilite Health Advisory Institute establishes the N.H.I. Scientific Advisory Board

2012 – Nutrilite research on the ‘Phytonutrient gap’ in American and Korean diets is published in the Journal of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics

2013 – BodyKey by Nutrilite, a weight management system, is introduced and Nutrilite products are found in more than 64 countries worldwide.
