A first-person tour down Ridgeline Mountain Bike trail in Makara Peak, Wellington, New Zealand.

Ridgeline is a rocky, rutted and narrow grade 5 tech trail descending from the summit deck of Makara Peak. Also accessible from two turn-offs down the parallel grade 3 trail - Peak Flow, these entrances allow you to bypass the steep, technical climbs at the start of the trail. While suitable for all-weather riding, this trail should be avoided during strong winds. North Face or Trickle Falls is a more sheltered alternative if it's too windy to ride. Ridgeline links into Starfish or Three Brothers for further descending, or you can take Snake Charmer back up to the Summit deck for another lap.
