Trinidad the Islandman's movie review of Fantastic 4, First Steps; "I have to say that I would have liked a little more action - maybe some more punchy, punchy..., I just would have liked to see The Thing cut loose. 😁 However, the depiction of Galactis was spot on and the way the FF faces him makes sense, despite no "Ultimate Nulifier." 😉
Spoiler - there is an end credit scene involving Doctor Doom, and a post credit scene not worth waiting for. Nothing involving what we saw at the end of the Thunderbolts....
Latvaria is shown as a country at the UN, yet no mention of Doom as the leader or of a long rivalry with Reed Richards; that may indicate Doom did not exist in the 828 Earth, as many other Fantastic Four villains are mentioned such as The Mole Man, The Puppeteer (and Ben meets his daughter), The Wizard, and even Diablo.
Or Doom was not mentioned as in the movie as he was not "currently" up to anything that they knew of..., or course he's always up to something...."
