I was lost in the silence,

carrying burdens far too heavy,
trying to be strong… without Your peace.
The weight of the past followed me,
the scars still ached.
I cried out for mercy
and I heard Your name call me.
In the midst of pain, Your voice found me,
in the dark shadow, Your love shone.
Your grace reached me,
brought me back to the light.
Your voice broke the silence,
transformed my heart.
In the whisper of grace I hear You,
calling me with endless love.
Without fear, without shame,
in Your arms I found my home.
Every tear I shed,
Your hands had already wiped away.
In my weary steps,
You were by my side.
No more running, no more hiding,
Your arms are open to receive me.
Your forgiveness set me free,
Your love restored me.
