This is an introduction to the idea of the generator effect in brushed dc motors. This phenomenon, along with the Lorentz force, is probably most fundamental to the operation of these motors, so view carefully. Again, apologies for the audio quality (though it's totally find for understanding the words coming out of my mouth). COVID-19 has seemingly caused a run on modern webcams, so I'm stuck with my old, but not yet busted, webcam.
