Human Following Robot

This video shows a scholar prototype of a human following robot using computer vision. The robot follows a visual reference in the observed scene by processing images captured by a mounted camera. The image processing and control of the robot’s actuators are implemented in the NVIDIA Jetson TK1 development board. Mechanical pieces were designed using CAD, constructed in a 3D printer, and mounted in the Amigobot robot. This project was done at Instituto Politécnico Nacional - CITEDI in Tijuana BC Mexico.
