Underwater Drone & Grabber Claw Test | Small Object Recovery

This video documents a first open water test of an underwater drone and grabber claw at Mermet Springs Quarry. The goal was to evaluate basic handling, video and lighting performance, and small object recovery in real conditions, while also exploring the submerged school bus wreck.

This is an initial, real-world test—not a polished demo. Everything shown reflects first-time use, including handling, limitations, and early observations on how the grabber claw performs for retrieval tasks in open water.

Future videos will build on this test with refined techniques, additional recovery scenarios, and deeper dives into overall operational performance.
