In Ark Survival Ascended – The Island (EP151), I set out to upgrade my Pteranodon “P6”… but the plan quickly derails into a full blown rescue mission. 🦖💨
The episode begins with a simple goal: take P6 out on Follow and Aggressive to gain levels and boost her stats. Everything goes smoothly at first, but P6 soon becomes hyper focused on small dinos and begins drifting farther and farther away, eventually ending up almost 700 meters from our starting point.
While dealing with this runaway chaos, I also end up fighting an Alpha Raptor, though the battle is just a small part of the journey since P6 is too distracted to help. After chasing him across the map, I’m forced to sprint from the Green Obelisk river and swamp back to my base to grab my Argentavis and mount a proper recovery effort.
Eventually, I track P6 down, whistle him to passive, and guide him safely home. What was supposed to be a routine leveling run becomes one of the most unexpected Pteranodon adventures yet.
There’s also a quick side tame of an Oviraptor that wandered near my base, but the real story is P6’s upgrade outing gone off the rails.
