Time to put my training to the test. Can I get it done? Either way, I'm gonna end up dirty.
Trying to get Maybelle pregnant. She is our family milk cow. She is super sweet and gentle. We purchased her from a dairy. The dairy was one of the cleanest I've seen. Maybelle was schedule to be removed from the herd because her milk production was going down and her last AI attempt (in June 2021) failed.
The failed AI could have been from the stress of living with lots of other cows and her body had to choose between making milk or carrying a calf. Now she is with us...... stress is down, feed is up, and she has a great body composition ready to carry a calf.
We purchased semen from our local Select Sires representative, Norm. Norm is always available to help and is such a wonderfully nice person. If I have any trouble, he is there with advice.
