JOGO DO SILÊNCIO é um trabalho totalmente autoral e diferente de tudo o que Edinho Santa Cruz já fez. A ideia surgiu do desejo de marcar seus 54 anos de carreira, mostrando ao público algumas composições instrumentais, inspiradas em sua própria história e em grandes mestres da música, como Villa-Lobos, Zequinha de Abreu, Dilermando Reis, Pixinguinha, Luiz Bonfá e Tom Jobim.
O espetáculo de gravação do DVD aconteceu no dia 19 de abril de 2016, no Teatro Alfa, em São Paulo, com a participação da Orquestra Sinfônica Heliópolis, do Instituto Baccarelli, sob a regência do Maestro Edilson Ventureli de Souza.

JOGO DO SILÊNCIO is a completely original work and unlike anything that Edinho Santa Cruz has done. The idea came from the desire to mark his 54-year career, showing some of his instrumental compositions, inspired by his own history and by the great masters of Brazilian music, such as Villa-Lobos, Zequinha de Abreu, Dilermando Reis, Pixinguinha, Luiz Bonfá and Tom Jobim.
The DVD recording concert happened on April 19th, at Teatro Alfa, in São Paulo, with artistic direction by Del Rangel, musical direction by Jether Garotti, and the participation of Heliopolis Symphony Orchestra, by the Baccarelli Institute, under the baton of Maestro Edilson Venturelli Souza.
