I Built a SLEEP TOKEN CLONE With AI and THIS Is What Happened

Metal scholars! AI bands (like The Velvet Sundown) are flooding Spotify. Velvet Sundown now has other clones popping up everywhere. People say the future of music is AI… so I put it to the test. I attempted to creat an AI band inspired by Sleep Token (called Hypnos Libation) — masks, myth, sound, the whole ritual. I used SUNO AI, image generation, and built the full mythology of Hypnos Libation.

The result? It sounded far, very far from the original… and it felt wrong, hehe.

This video is more of an experiment, just a curiosity I want to share with you. It’s a reflection on what makes Sleep Token unique, why human devotion is hard to replicate, and whether AI will ever replace true artistic worship.

I. The Encounter
In the space between silence and shadow, in the hour when thought untangles and the body forgets its weight, the God came. Hypnos, son of Nyx, brother of Thanatos. The one who waits beneath it — the architect of forgetting, the drinker of consciousness. Each member of Hypnos Libation has felt the presence — not in dream, but in the space just after dream. In that waking void. “Pour yourselves out. Let me taste what the world does not deserve.” Every song is a libation — a ritualistic pouring of pain, memory, and longing.
