I binge-watched Geek Girl and it was aggressively fine.

Hi, friends. I hope you enjoy my somewhat conflicted review of Geek Girl on Netflix with my new mic setup that I accidentally hit a few times.
I got nervous about being too critical for some reason, especially with the criticism of the shy/bookish/mellow girl "not having personality," since personalities don't have to always look the same in characters. Especially since Harriet seems really charming with her novice and awkward girl humor.
Maybe I'll rewatch this one day and see if my thoughts have changed.

P.S. After checking the updated Wikipedia, I learned the author confirmed that Harriet is meant to be autistic, and the author and lead actress are both autistic. However, it's never stated and the "label" scene I talk about is still really confusing to me, though that's still my biggest guess of what it was about.
p.s. added in months later to say the way they showed Harriet being super dismissive of deadlines and being late to everything in the name of balancing work with school was also super unrealistic.
