On the second anniversary of the passing of
our good friend Tom Lally we have an interview
with the soon to be new proprietor Mark Quinn of
Lally’s Bar ,Garrafrauns and his co- barman Mike Quinn on their plans for the future of this iconic pub.
Ollie Turner interviews Mark first and moves on to
Mike next in what turns out to be a nostalgic look back at their friendship with the great TL .
Two men who were regular performers at the famous music sessions in Lally’s - Séamus Mahon and Charlie Keating complete the line up.
Séamus Mahon composed the lyrics and music and sings the opening song INISHKEA .
Charlie Keating dedicates Ireland’s Hurling Men to
everyone who ever travelled on Tom Forde’s bus following the Galway Hurlers the length and breadth of the country.
