There's something about this one that is really heartfelt. Background on the story (Majora's Mask Spoilers ahead). You meet a baby Goron who won't stop crying because he misses his father and he needs his lullaby. You end up meeting his father who has been frozen in a block of ice. You thaw him out and he ends up teaching you the first half of the lullaby. When you play it to the baby Goron he has visions of his father. He explains that it feels like he his is still here. We actually never see the father again. Did he ever make it back to his child? Completely down to interpretation but I wanted this song to feel like the last goodbye. An 'I'll always be with you' type thing. That's why it's slightly melancholy. I hope that comes across.
