Recently, I had the pleasure of visiting the Adenium Exhibition in Petah Tikva, Israel, and it was an incredible event that I simply must share with you! These amazing plants, also known as desert roses, truly deserve the attention of every flower and exotic plant enthusiast.

What I Saw at the Exhibition
The exhibition featured a wide variety of unique adeniums. These are not just plants; they are true works of natural art. There were miniature, bonsai-style specimens as well as large, mature plants with fascinating root structures. The flowers amazed with their range of colors, from delicate pinks to vibrant reds and even purples. Each adenium had its own unique charm.

One of my favorite parts of the exhibition was the section dedicated to rare varieties. I had the chance to see plants with unusual trunk shapes and petal patterns. It was a true feast for the eyes and a source of inspiration.

Adenium Prices
At the exhibition, you could find plants to suit every taste and budget. Young seedlings were quite affordable, while large, mature specimens with rare features could reach higher prices. It was fascinating to see how factors like unique trunk shapes, rare flower colors, or variegated leaves influenced the cost of the plants. This was a great opportunity to understand the market and make informed purchases.

Expert Tips
The exhibition also provided an opportunity to talk to experienced adenium growers. They generously shared care tips, and I took away several important points:

Light and Placement: Adeniums love sunlight, so it’s best to place them in spots with direct sunlight.

Soil Mix: These plants require well-draining soil. Experts recommended a mix of cactus soil, sand, and perlite.

Watering: Water adeniums only when the soil is completely dry to avoid root rot.

Fertilizing: During the growing season (spring to fall), feed the plant every 2-4 weeks.

Pruning: Pruning helps shape the plant and encourages new branch growth.

Impressions and Emotions
The Adenium Exhibition in Petah Tikva left me with the brightest and warmest impressions. It wasn’t just a place to see beautiful plants but also an opportunity to connect with like-minded people, learn something new, and even take home a small plant that now brings me joy.

If you ever have the chance to attend a similar event, I highly recommend it. It’s a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of extraordinary plants and discover a new hobby!
