Manila Archbishop Jose F. Cardinal Advincula on Friday (December 26) acknowledged the challenges of hope as the country faced a year marked by disasters, including typhoons and earthquakes, and growing distrust in government due to corruption scandal over anomalous flood control projects.
Leading the Holy Mass for the Closing of the Ordinary Jubilee Year 2025 at the Manila Cathedral, Advincula reminded the faithful that the Jubilee’s true purpose is to let Jesus be the source of hope and to become instruments of hope for others.
