At last, here is the first of my Wellington videos; filmed on Thursday the 12th of May.
Before going to Wellington, I ended up seeing a DSG shunter on a mainline train in Tauranga. As for what I saw in the capital, it was mostly the Matangi electric units (as one would expect). I also caught the recently-overhauled DFB 7145 on the Wairarapa Connection to Masterton.
Here's some (dare I say) exciting things to look out for as the series goes on:
~ DFB 7064 leaving Hutt Workshops
~ Steam Locomotive JA 1271
~ The unique pedestrian crossing in Khandallah
~ Two visiting engines from the South Island; DXC 5391 and DXB 5120
