On this video I have visited Bamford edge for the view into Hope Valley,Peak district and little bit of Ladybower reservoir. There are 2 free street car parking and pay & display parking (Heatherdene car park). Our route is through Heatherdene Car park going through dark wood and then Oakwood woods. This journey is uphill and slightly challenging. The walk from car park to Bamford edge took us around 1 1/2 to 2 hours (less than 2 miles) due to rain. Although disappointed due to the weather, the view from top well worth it. Our total spend is only for fuel £30 as we had pack lunch.
