Mayumi Kanagawa (1994) is a Japanese/American violinist who started playing the violin at the age of four. One year later she moved to New York where she continued her studies with Prof. Masao Kawasaki. Mayumi already won several national and international competitions such as the prestigious Heifetz Competition in Vilnius, Lithuania and the International Irving M.Klein Competition in San Francisco, and has played as a soloist with several orchestras such as Kremerata Baltica, the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra and the Deutsche Kammerphilarmonie Bremen. She is currently a student at the Hochschule für Musik 'Hanns Eisler' Berlin with Prof. Kolja Blacher.

Niek Baar (1991) is a Dutch violinist who started to play the violin at the age of 8. In 2012 Niek received his Bachelor Diplom cum laude at the Royal Conservatory of Music in The Hague (Holland), and currently studies at the Hochschule für Musik 'Hanns Eisler' Berlin with Prof. Stephan Picard. Niek is a prize winner of several national and international competitions and received the First Prize during the International Solo Bach Competition in London and got the third prize during the famous International Johann Sebastian Bach Competition in Leipzig 2014, to be the first dutch prizewinner in the violin category of this competition. As a soloist, Niek made his debut at the age of 16 with the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra and has also performed with Sinfonia Rotterdam during a performance in the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam.
*Niek plays a violin attributed to the work of Guadagnini, 1783 loaned to him by a private owner.

Jiyoon Lee (1992) is a Korean violinist who studied with the famous Korean pedagogue Nam Yun Kim and is currently a masters student at the Hochschule für Musik 'Hanns Eisler' Berlin with Prof. Kolja Blacher. Jiyoon won prizes in several international competitions such as the Sarasate, Seoul, and Isangyun Competitions. Last year she was the recipient of the first prize at the David Oistrakh Competition in Moscow. Jiyoon made her debut as a soloist at the age of 10 with the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra and played as a soloist with several orchestras since then. In May 2014 she will perform the Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto in Moscow.
