Christopher Atkins was involved in a tragic case in Florida. At just 12 years old, he participated in a robbery that led to the murder of 16-year-old Layla Silvernail in 2023. He later pleaded guilty to first-degree murder, armed robbery, and evidence tampering. Atkins was charged only in Silvernail’s death, but his co-defendants, Robert Robinson and Tahj Brewton, were accused of killing two other victims, 17-year-old Michael Hodo Jr. and 16-year-old Camille Quarles. As part of his plea deal, Atkins agreed to testify against them in their upcoming trials.
