Today we cooked a traditional Afghan dish using dried apricots — a simple and sweet rice meal called Kashta Palaw, made right here in our village home in Bamyan.
We prepared it together as a family, using local ingredients, natural firewood, and our handmade clay stove. The combination of rice, dried apricots, and love made it a warm and comforting meal.
