Cochlear Implants: Deaf Community's View Part 1

This program of one hour video documentary displays the perspectives of five individual leaders with PhD degrees from various kind of hearing loss and bilingual expertise being discussed in group of panel as "ADHOC committee" representing GLAD. Discussion focused on disadvantages weighing over advantage in opposite of what was mentioned in media and by cochlear surgeons. It includes demonstration of how hearing operated and how cochlear implants can be applied. All presentations are shared in American Sign Language and voiced over English translations.
