Goddess Adi Parashakti Durga has been glorified as the supreme parabrahman ultimate reality in Sanatan Dharma.

The Durga Naam is the greatest of all names as glorified in the scriptures of Sanatan Dharma:

शिवोवाच।
शृणु देवी वरारोहे ममैव निश्चितं वचः।
बिना दुर्गा परिज्ञानाद् विफलं पूजनं जपः।।

Lord Shiva said- “Hey Vararohe! Hey Devi! Listen to my words carefully. Without knowing Sri Durga all worship and chanting are ineffective.”

दुर्गा हि परमो मन्त्रो दुर्गा हि परमो जपः।
दुर्गा हि परमं तीर्थं दुर्गा हि परमा क्रिया।।

“‘Durga’ is the greatest Mantra, ‘Durga’ is the greatest Japa; ‘Durga’ is the greatest Tirtha, ‘Durga’ is the greatest Kriya. ‘Durga’ is the greatest Bhakti, ‘Durga’ is the greatest Mukti.”

दुर्गा हि परमा भक्ति दुर्गामूर्त्तिमहीतले।
बुद्धिर्निद्रा क्षुधा छाया शक्तिस्तृष्णा तथा क्षमा।।
दया तुष्टिश्च पुष्टिश्च शान्तिर्लक्ष्मीर्मतिश्च या।।

दुर्गास्मरणजं देवी दुर्गा स्मरणजं फलम्।
दुर्गाया स्मरणेनैव किं न सिद्ध्यति भूतले।।

“Durga is Buddhi, Nidra, Kshudha, Chhaya, Trishna, Kshama, Daya, Tushti, Pushti, Shanti, Lakshmi and Mati. Hey Devi! I am incapable of glorifying the benefits of Sri Durganaam Smaranam; by remembering Sri Durga there is nothing which is hard to be achieved.”

शैवो वा वैष्णवो वापि शाक्तो वा गिरिनन्दिनी।
तत्क्षणाद्देवदेवेशी मुच्यते भव बन्धनात्।।

विष्णुनाम सहस्रेभ्योह्यधिकं परमेश्वरी।
दुर्गानाम समाख्यातं चतुर्वेदविदांमतम्।।

“Shaiva, Vaishnava or Shakta- whoever remembers Sri Durga gets liberated from Samsara. Hey Parameshwari! As per those versed in the four Vedas, a single chanting/remembering of Sri Durganaam is greater than chanting/remembering Vishnunaam a thousand times.”

हरिर्नाम्नः परं नास्ति वैष्णवानामिदं स्मृतम्।
तादृशाञ्च मते ज्ञेयं दुर्गानाम ततोहधिक।।

श्रद्धयाश्रद्धया वापि यः कश्चिन्मानवः स्मरेत्।
दुर्गा दुर्गशतं तीर्त्त्वा सयाति परमं गतिम्।।

“There's nothing greater than Harinaam of Vaishnavas; but Sri Durganaam is greater even to Harinaam. With reverence or with contempt- whoever remembers Sri Durga gets liberated from the bondages of Maya, and attains the highest position.”

दुर्गा दुर्गेति दुर्गेति दुर्गानाम पर मनुम् ।

Śrī Śiva: Durgā, Durgā, Durgā- This Durgā name is the best mantra.

Such is the greatness of Sri Durga naam, that everyone from Devi-Devas, God-Goddesses, Demons-Danavas and Rishi-Munis got their respective dominions by chanting Sri 'DURGA' naam:

1. Shiva attained Ishwaratva.
2. Kalagnirudra got power to destroy Trimurti.
3. Saptarshis obtained knowledge of all times.
4. Kinnaras obtained mastery of all forms of art.
5. Rudra got power to do Samhara.
6. Ravana got grace of Shiva.
7. Vishnu got power to do Sthiti.
8. Indra got Indrasanam.
9. Prajapati got power to create life.
10. Rama got power to kill Ravana.
11. Ashtavakra got mastery over all forms of Yoga.
12. Lord Vishnu got power to awake from Yognindra
13. Kala and Mrityu got powers to kill all entities.
14. Indrani secured victory of Indra.
15. Aditi got power to give birth to Devas.
16. Agni got power to burn all except Mahakala.

39. Suratha got back his lost kingdom and Manuhood in next birth as Savarni.
40. Brahma, Vishnu & Rudra got Saraswati, Lakshmi & Gouri as consorts.
41. Pandavas got victory over Kouravas.
42. Narayana got female form of Mohini.
43. Lalita Tripurasundari got dominion over millions of universes.
44. Mahakali got dominion over Mahakala.
45. Radha and Brajagopikas got Krishna as their husband.
46. Kali got power to kill demons like Raktabeeja.
47. Tridevas got Vahanattwa of Bhagavati Kamakhya.
