If you've ever had the unpleasant experience of getting a glochid in your skin, you can imagine the misery of getting one in your mouth.
Since the tiny thorns have a way of getting everywhere, it's best to eliminate as many of them as you can before juicing.
My favorite method: "Kill them with fire!"
I'll show you how to use two different flames to remove the glochids, but fair warning...I can tell you first hand that neither will destroy 100% of them.
