Hi Everyone, in today's video I'm going to show you guys how to build a simple auto-regressive time series forecasting model in Excel using formulas and Excel's solver tool.
This is a pretty useful technique to know, especially if you work in Finance or if you are often asked to generate forecasts. This is an easy to use method that is highly customizable, easily shareable (no need to build big Python pipelines or PowerBI dashboards), and allows you to build in domain knowledge while also having the model rely on proper statistical methods.
