From Cross Border Reproductive Care to the transport of human gametes and embryos: A paradigm shift?

Our colleague, Sara Dalla Costa, a lawyer specialised in biolaw and coordinator of Instituto Bernabeu Venecia, has led a scientific research published in the Bioethics Journal of the University of Barcelona.

🔬 This work, entitled ‘From Cross Border Reproductive Care to the transport of human gametes and embryos: A paradigm shift?’, reviews European regulations on the circulation of human cells and tissues.

🗣️ ‘While technological advances have allowed the globalisation of fertility treatments, it is essential that policies are more transparent and ethical, protecting both patients and the professionals involved,’ insists Dalla Costa.
