Olivia composed all the songs on the album including Don't Cut Me Down. Olivia was also appointed as a U.N. ambassador on the environment (U.N. Environment Program / UNEP) in 1990, serving a two-year term in the post designed to help promote U.N. goals and activities in dealing with environmental issues.

Gaia:
In the 2012 special edition of the Gaia CD given to all guests at Olivia's Gaia Retreat and Spa in New South Wales, Australia, Olivia wrote, "Gaia is the spirit of Mother Earth. She is the giver of dreams and the nourisher of plants and young children. I recorded this CD in 1994 while staying at my farm near Byron Bay. It was my way of healing after breast cancer in 1992. This album serves as a reminder of my passage, appreciation and gratitude for life - my One Woman's Journey."

Endangered Wollemi Pine (Wollemia nobilis):
The plant Olivia and Jon Dee planted is Wollemi Pine. They are one of the world's oldest and rarest plants dating back to the time of the dinosaurs. In fact, they may have been dinosaur snacks. With less than 100 adult trees known to exist in the wild, Wollemi Pine is now the focus of extensive research to safeguard its survival.
