Ogres, My Lord..

Ogres are big. ugly, brutish monsters that excel at two things: Eating and fighting. An Ogre is easily recognised by his massive frame and boulder like gut, but any that come across one would do well to stay out of its path, for an Ogre will, more often than not, club to death and messily devour any living thing that it can catch. The Ogres come from a number of scattered kingdoms throughout the Mountains of Mourn and beyond far to the east of the world. They travel the world fighting as mercenaries and picking on those weaker than themselves - which is almost everyone. Ogre Populations in the Mountains of mourn have grown so large that they've began to migrate to the old world, much to the dismay of the citizens of the empire.

An Ogre Army is a massive blunt force instrument, its sheer intimidation factor is a weapon in itself. Facing unit upon unit of lumbering killing machines with packs of monsters led by some of the most potent characters in the Old World is a daunting prospect, Especially with the speed that an Ogre Army closes on its enemy. So ogres raid and eat and savage the world all for their never ending hunger and all in the name of their god, the Great Maw.

Pulled from Ogre Army Books 6th - 8th Ed, Concept art for Warhammer Total War 3, To praise some known artists but not all Paul Dainton, Alex Boyd, Dave Galagher, Karl Kopinski, Kevin Chin. Finally I pulled some pieces of pinterest, like the Yhetee.
