This video is not intended for experienced wood workers. This video is intended for the less experience parent who needs a desk for their children on a budget. This desk costs me $12 in material, however I am buying sheets of MDF that makes 6 desk tops.
A little background:
I have been making basic and simple desks for children in my local area that didn't have any. Word got out, then eventually ABC 7 did a news story on it and things erupted. Needless to say, I spent the next 12 hours, no joke, going through messages, organizing requests for donation desks. I eventually capped the wait list at 250 and had to turn folks away. I realized that if I can get the design down to bare bones, more people can help make these desk. That is what this desk is.
