Cataclysm 100% [Extreme Demon] by Gboy (2/3 APT Complete)

I have a really long history with this lvl, starting all the way back in 2015 when I first discovered this lvl's existence because of Bloodbath. So as soon as I heard about it's relation to Bloodbath I immediately went to watch a video of it and I was blown away by the first wave cuz it looked impossible, so being the oblivious little child that I was, I decided to hop on GD and play it and I got cooked obviously. The farthest I got was 6% lmao (my hardest was clutterfunk)

Fast forward 8 years later, I come back to the game because of Samifying and Doggie. And I keep improving until my hardest Biru when I decided to make the stupidest decision to jump to Cataclysm. Obviously we know how that story ended, it ended with me pouring around 2k attempts from 0 and another 3k for runs. My best runs being 20% and 63-100. Next 2 months later I tried to go for it AGAIN when my hardest later became Forest Temple, and I ended up fluking the ever living shit out of 51-100 from 51-59 and I ended up getting that run in only 200~ atts. But once I started going for 39-100, I got humbled again. I poured in 1k atts and my best run from 39 was 39-71. And I once again dropped it.

Fast forward another 6 months to the present and I finally beat it.

Now about the level itself, I mean it sucks obviously like its got buggy transitions, chokepoints and UNBALANCED ASF gameplay. Deco's not that great either except for the first wave part and piano ball part, will always be my favourite deco parts of this lvl. Now about each part itself, the first wave rlly wasnt that bad for me considering I just treated it as a wave challenge and it made it easier. The transition into the drop ship is weird asf bro, either u plummet into the ground after the transition or just hit some random spike jutting out just before ur cube hits the platform. The drop ship itself is not that bad and thats because of the bloodbath ship skillboost. The wave after that is free but im stupid and did die there a couple times, the ball part after SUUUUUCKED on day 1 cuz I just couldnt get the hang of the rng zodiac ball timing until the next day when I realized u could use those air deco eye thingies as a visual cue and that made it 10x more consistent. The ufo there are some stupid clicks mainly the second one but it wasnt that bad. Of course then we have 41% which im sure anyone who has beaten cata will know about this. Its just bad trust me. The cube is pretty free. The ball part at 51% was the most fun part about cata for me I just love that part. The straightfly hell is not that bad somehow. I fs thought I would die at 71% alot but I managed to not die there even once somehow. The wave after that is FREE but stressful asf from 0. Aight I'm done yapping.
