A cloud-based Python(Django) project for students. Building it from scratch (part 1)
Project Name - Space Gallery
About the project,
1. Normally, when we upload images in Django, they are saved in the server’s media folder.
2. As the number of users grows and thousands of images are uploaded, several issues appear:
a) The server becomes slow.
b) Storage gets full.
c) The website may crash.
3. Real-world companies do not store images directly on their servers.
4. Instead, they use cloud-based CDN systems such as Cloudinary to handle image storage and delivery efficiently.
TECH STACK:- PYTHON (DJANGO), CLOUDINARY , BOOTSTRAP, SQLite, HTML
WORKFLOW:- USER UPLOADS IMAGE → IT GETS STORED IN CLOUDINARY → URL SAVED IN DB → DISPLAYED ON WEBSITE (FRONTEND)
TOOLS REQUIRED:-
1) VS studio code
2) Cloudinary account (free version)
