Kirsty was 43 when she cycled Lands End to John O'Groats, the length of the British Isles, 90% being on the National Cycle Network.

She raised money to train three young, Fijian locals on an outer island called, Taveuni where she lived and set up her eco-adventure tourism business in 2012. The three personally chosen youngsters will do their PADI Open Water Certificate and learn how to do coral gardening.
On her journey, she saw very few women doing the trip and nobody seemed to be doing it slowly. Promoting slow travel and responsible tourism for over a decade this trip was a perfect way to reconnect with her home country where she hadn't lived full-time for many years.
