Temple (Wat Rong Suea Ten)!
Join me on a peaceful walking tour as I explore one of Thailand’s most unique and colorful temples. With its deep sapphire-blue walls, golden details, and modern artistic style, this temple feels like stepping into another world.
🌟 About the Blue Temple (Short History)
Wat Rong Suea Ten, known as the Blue Temple, is a relatively new temple in Chiang Rai, completed in 2016.
Its name means “Temple of the Dancing Tiger,” because this area was once home to wild tigers.
The temple was designed by Phuttha Kabkaew, a student of the creator of the White Temple (Wat Rong Khun), which explains the similar artistic influence.
The intense blue color represents Dharma, the path to enlightenment in Buddhism.
