Feeling restless and bored this past Sunday, I decided to crack open a 1/28th scale plastic model of one of my all time favorite cars; the legendary Ferrari 512BB Berlinetta Boxer (a.k.a. the Blood Mobile) and shoot a time-lapse video of me building it. The model brand is NITTO, made in Japan. This was my first NITTO model. It required very little model glue. Most of it snapped together, and some interesting glue-free interlocking assemblage involved. Very quick build. 30min. Small electric motor powered by a single AA battery will send this little boxer flying off the table and crashing into a wall, if you're not quick enough to snatch it up and turn it off. I never understood why you'd want this feature. Enough about the 512BB.
Video was shot with an Olympus E-PL1 using Art filter 5 (Daiorama).
Music for this video is some crazy Cambodian Psychedelic Pop! Yea man, this band is wicked.
Band is called Srei Sothear and Sin Sisamouth ;
Song's name is Marrison (apparently it's a classic) ;
album title is Cambodian Psyched Out LP.
Enjoy.
Cheers
